Just Booked Laffs Tucson - October 13, 2008

Info to follow.

RIP Bernie Mac - August 11, 2008

I'm sure you've all heard the sad news that Bernie Mac passed away over the weekend. Most of you probably know Bernie from his role in the Ocean's 11, 12, and 13 movies (In which he was fantastic.) and from his hit TV show.

But what many of you may not know is that Bernie was a world class comic. His material was inciteful and hard hitting. His performance was fearless, and his stage persona was great. His most famous line, "I'm not afraid of you MotherF...er's" is exactly a statement of the way he performed.

For all of you comedy fans out there, if you want to see Bernie at his finest. Rent "The Kings Of Comedy". He headlines the show, and absolutely slams an audience of 40,000 plus.

World Class Comedy, by a real class act.

Rest In Peace Bernie. You were one of the Best.

I'm touring to Washington - March 12, 2008

Hey Everyone,
I'm excited to say that I'll be performing in Washington state for the first time in early May. I'll post all the info as soon as I have it. But I can tell you right now it will be an incredible show. I'll be on the bill as the Feature for Darryl Rhoades.

Darryl absolutely rocks. I performed with him in Denver last December. He is a fast paced comic with huge musical talents. He's been a performer for 40 years. (20 as a musician, and another 20 as a comic). He has 10 cd's out (comedy and music) and I know you'll love him.

So if you're in the RIchland, WA area on May 1 - 3 come on out. (Richland is somewhat close to Spokane if you're wondering.)

A New Way to Download My CD - March 2, 2008

Hello Everyone,
Thought you'd all want to know that my cd (Where Are The Bees?!?!?) can now be downloaded directly from CDBaby.com. It downloads as MP3's that play on any player and it's the cheapest way to get my album. I love Itunes, but this is even cheaper.

So click on my products page. Go to cdbaby and you'll see the new button for their download.

Keep Laughing,
Jesse

My Idea Of A 12 Step Program - August 6, 2007

Ok, the world seems to be abuz with news of Oscar, the cat in Rhode Island that is a sort of Grim Reaper. According to the New England Journal Of Medicine (yes someone there has a ridiculous amount of time on their hands, or is freakishly into hanging out in Nursing homes)...Anyway, according to the NEJM Oscar spends his days visiting patients in a local home, but never stays very long. The only time he settles in, is when someone is about to die. If you're within hours of dying, this little furry reaper will come cuttle in with you. Nice and comforting if you're really dying, freaky as hell if you're just sitting there watching Jeopardy. (It's all in the timing.) AND, this little guy has been right, 28 times. He's so accurate, that if he cuddles in with a patient, the staff calls that persons family to come say goodbye.

Now, this got me thinking. If a cat can pick up when a person is about to pass over, why the hell can't we find an animal that can tell when a celebrity is about to go on a bender. Like a Whiskey Wombat, or a Crack Badger. How much trouble could Lindsey Lohan, and the world, have been saved, if someone had just given her a Crack Badger. One too many drinks? Or thinking about doing an Eight Ball, WAM, Out of no where, Stinky the Crack Badger, leaps across the room, tackling her and maybe gentling knawing on her arm (just for dramatic effect........no she's not hurt, stop being so sensitive.) There would be no more driving the wrong way on the freeway, or running your Mercedes into a tree, in that case. Maybe the badger could be like a LoJack. It could bite on, and not let go until the urge to F...up your life, and dominate news coverage passes. AND with the number of paparazzi following these people around, it would be awefully hard to hide an angry badger hanging off your arm. Who needs a 12 step program when you have Stinky The Crack Badger? Some cultures already believe in a Man Eating Badger Controlled by America, (not making that up......some people are really paranoid)....I think the world is more than ready for a Crack Badger.

Now who knows how to get a hold of that Dog Whisperer Guy. Maybe he can start the ball rolling.

Keep Laughing,

Jesse

Coming Back to Denver!!! - July 17, 2007

Hey Everyone,

Comedy For 6 Year Olds - June 2, 2007

Did a show in Hemet today at the Kid Zone Family Fun Festival. Their a great group of people, and I enjoyed working with them. The funny thing about the show was that it was a mix of parents and kids 6 and up. Turned out to be one of the stanger comedy tight ropes I've walked. Nothing makes parents less likely to laugh than having their toddler next to them, and nothing makes the kids want to laugh less than intelligent humor.

Still it was fun. We all discovered that goofiness worked, and hey, that is never bad. Spend a few hours as a kid again? If I must. =-)
